Refund Policy & 90-Day Guarantee

This policy explains how billing, cancellation and refunds work for 8stations.ai subscriptions, anywhere in the world. It forms part of our Terms of Service. There is no free trial: your plan is charged immediately when you subscribe.
1. Subscriptions are non-refundable
Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable, including for partial periods, unused time, features you did not use, or any period after you cancel. We do not provide pro-rata or retroactive refunds. The single exception is the 90-day money-back guarantee described below, and any refund that we are required to give you under the mandatory consumer law of your country (see section 5).
2. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your Billing page (the Stripe customer portal). Cancellation stops all future renewals. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date.
3. The 90-day money-back guarantee
We stand behind the coaching. If you subscribe to a paid plan, train honestly with the AI for a full 90 days, and genuinely do not improve, we will refund what you paid for that period. We built the guarantee this way on purpose, so it is fair for both sides: athletes who put in the real work are protected, and it cannot be gamed by anyone looking for a free ride. Because it is a results-and-effort guarantee rather than a no-questions refund, it comes with conditions, and you have to be able to prove you did the work.
Who is eligible
The guarantee applies only if all of the following are true:
- You have held a paid plan (Athlete or Performance) continuously for at least 90 days, with every payment for that period made and not reversed.
- You followed the AI-generated training consistently across those 90 days, completing the large majority of the sessions the app planned for you, at the prescribed effort, and logging them in the app with honest feedback.
- Despite that consistent, honest training, you saw no meaningful improvement in your HYROX-relevant performance over the period.
- You had no long interruption that made improvement impossible (for example an injury, illness, or extended break), and you did not deviate substantially from the plan.
Evidence you must provide
To claim, you must give us enough to verify genuine, consistent effort. That means providing, for the full 90-day period, your training records from your watch or GPS device (for example your run data and heart-rate files), your in-app training logs and feedback, and any other records we reasonably ask for to confirm what you actually did. If the evidence is incomplete, inconsistent, or shows that the plan was not genuinely followed, the claim does not qualify.
How a claim is decided
Submit your claim within 14 days after your first 90 days, by emailing team@8stations.ai with the evidence above. We review every claim in good faith against the criteria in this section and decide at our reasonable discretion. The guarantee can be used once per customer. If your claim qualifies, we refund the subscription fees you paid over the 90-day period to your original payment method and your subscription ends.
What is not covered
The guarantee does not apply where, for example: the plan was not consistently followed or logged; sessions were skipped, shortened or done at the wrong effort; the required evidence is missing, altered or cannot be verified; the account was shared, resold or used in breach of our Terms; a chargeback or payment dispute has been opened; or the claim is made outside the window. It also does not cover the separate 1:1 human coaching service, which is governed by its own agreement.
4. Duplicate, fraudulent or abusive claims
We may decline any refund or guarantee claim that is duplicated, dishonest, based on falsified records, or otherwise abusive, and we may suspend accounts that attempt to misuse this policy.
5. Digital product: purchases are final
8stations.ai is a digital service that you get full, immediate access to the moment you subscribe. When you subscribe you expressly agree that we begin providing it to you straight away. Because it is delivered digitally and immediately, your purchase is final: the only way to get money back is the 90-day money-back guarantee above. Changing your mind, forgetting to cancel, or not using the service does not qualify for a refund.
This does not remove any right that cannot legally be excluded where you live. If the local law of your country (in the EU/EEA, UK, United States, Canada, Australia, the Middle East, Asia or elsewhere) gives you a refund or cancellation right that cannot be waived, that right still applies. But for a digital service you have agreed to access immediately, there is no general cooling-off refund.
